Our sweet Dozer fought long and hard against cancer. He went to doggie heaven yesterday. We cannot thank Dr. Hammer from North Coast Veterinary and his loving staff. When Dozer was diagnosed we were told 2 weeks to a month with him. Through Dr. Hammer's treatments we had Dozer for another 16 months. We also would have never gotten through all of this without Barb Borkowski's help. Without her expertise on energy and animal communication we would have never known what he needed. Thank you Dr. Hammer and staff. Thank you Barb for helping us.
This is a testimonial from one of my clients. They live in Ohio, I am in Tennessee. The work is done remotely.
We have 3 Labs. When we found out our 9 year old brown Lab had cancer, I knew I needed to contact Barb. Throughout Dozer's medical treatment Barb communicates with him and provides energy therapy for him. She helps him the day before his chemo and day of chemo. She has been our lifesaver when he is having a bad day in helping him. We are so very grateful for Barb's help. Having two other siblings of Dozer's she provides energy therapy for them and helps us to understand what they are feeling and needing. We would be lost without her.
People often ask me how I am able to communicate with animals. Although I do not have an exact explanation, my understanding of how I do it is this:
I sense - when with a pet or while looking at a picture of one, I have an awareness of what is going on physically and emotionally.
I feel - if an animal has physical discomfort I feel it in my body.
I know - I know what may help an animal to feel better and I offer suggestions.
It all begins with a prayer - that I am shown the best way to help animals and the people who love them.
Humans and animals are energetic beings. Our thoughts and feelings affect our physical health and wellbeing. Living with pets makes them vulnerable to negative influences from our unresolved emotional issues.
While assisting humans, I have found that there is a correlation between emotions and organs of the body. Anger and resentment affect the liver. Fear affects the kidneys. Grief affects the lungs and heart. Worry affects the stomach.
Animals pick up on our feelings and the energy in their bodies are affected. When communicating with them, whether in person or by looking at a photo, how they are feeling physically may be a reflection of their human companion's emotional state.
When you are stressed, depressed and experience fluctuating emotions, your pet senses this and also may feel the tension. Taking care of your emotional wellbeing will help your pet to be happier and healthier.
When my dog passed, I chose cremation. I bought a special container for her ashes, collar, tag and even included two of her favorite treats. Since 2009 I have grieved the loss of my special friend. Many times I held that container in my arms and cried.
Being a person who loves intensely and has difficulty letting go, I really did not have closure with my dog's death. Part of me still held on for all those years.
Last week my youngest son was visiting. The thought entered my mind to ask him to take the ashes to a final resting place at his childhood home. That same day, I watched Joel Osteen. He spoke about moving forward in life and letting go of the ashes from our past. Coincidence? No, I don't believe so.
My beloved dog's remains have arrived at her final resting place in the countryside that she loved so much. My son took the ashes, which allowed me to let go of the past. Closure ~ and I am doing alright.
The picture above is a rabbit that has been hanging around my backyard. I call her Honey Bunny. Her presence in my life is so appreciated, since I am not able to have a pet where I live.
Over the past few months, Honey Bunny has gained trust. I can get within two feet of her. Any closer and she runs away. I spend a lot of time talking to my rabbit friend and even made up a song about her. She's my Honey Bunny and I love her so much.
Nature and all of its beauty is such a treasure. Gratitude for the simple things in life is important.
Two days ago, I walked outside. I heard and watched a Red-Tailed Hawk flying from the rooftop. Hawks have been a favorite of mine for quite some time. When an animal gets my attention, I always turn to the book Animal-Speak by Ted Andrews. Hawks are considered the messenger birds, according to the book. There are four pages about the symbolism of them.
After reading the information, what stood out to me was this: that my childhood visions are becoming fulfilled and that I am moving toward my soul purpose. My interpretation of those statements is that now is the time for doing the work that I love. That work is helping animals through animal communication. I am a voice for them.
Are you doing work that you love? If not, what steps can you take today to assist with being able to do that? Keep your eyes open for signs along the way. If you see a hawk, there may be a message for you.
Thank you, Red-Tailed Hawk, for being a part of my day and a messenger. It was an honor to witness your strength and beauty.
All living beings are composed of energy. For the past 21 years, I have provided energy therapy sessions for people. It has been very rewarding on many levels. The most rewarding experience has been the opportunity to touch dogs and horses.
Unlike some humans, animals desire to be well. They are open and receptive to assistance in healing. I have not met even one pet who disliked being touched and receiving calming, relaxing energy therapy. The horses and dogs that I am privileged to meet welcome the gift of healing. Their response to it is quick and obvious to me and their owners.
We can learn from animals and also be open & receptive to methods of natural healing. It truly decreases stress and assists the body to return to a calm, balanced state.
Yesterday afternoon, I had the privilege of seeing a praying mantis. It moved slowly across the porch with a determination to reach it's destination. On several occasions, I have seen the bright green insect. This one was different. The coloring was dark tan with green. After researching, I learned there are two types: the European praying mantis is green and the Chinese praying mantis is tan with some green.
When animals or insects get my attention, there is a book that I refer to called Animal-Speak by Ted Andrews. According to that book, praying mantis symbolizes the "power of stillness". This was helpful for me and may also benefit you.
The praying mantis is a reminder to quiet the mind. That can be through meditation or sleep time. For me, I had not been getting enough sleep. Constant thinking about issues in life may also be draining. Some quiet time may be what is needed to bring balance to the body, mind and soul.
Thank you, Chinese praying mantis, for showing up yesterday. It is time for me to learn about the "power of stillness"
Ever since I was a little girl, I was fascinated by horses. To me, they are symbolic of strength and power. In my preteen years, I occasionally rode horses with a friend. My desire to have my own horse remains to this day.
When I am asked to provide animal communication & energy therapy for horses, I am filled with joy and feel rejuvenated. Being in their presence affects me in such a positive way. Nothing else compares to it. Some relatives and friends have witnessed the rapid transformation while I am near horses. Suddenly I look younger, feel happy and radiate pure bliss.
If you have the opportunity to be around horses, take time to absorb the wonder and the power of the moment. It is Horse Power and it is a blessing.
Barb Borkowski is an animal communicator. She speaks for pets and enhances their relationships with people.
